Nathan is such a wonderful big brother. He was helping Anna try to skate her first time out on the ice.
The First Day of School
7th, 6th. 3rd and kindergarten
I thought I was ready for this day….time for mom to have a little time to herself after having 4 kids home for the summer. According to Grace she has no idea what I will do all by myself for 6 hours. She thinks I will just sit on the couch all day (and it may be true on day one) But I can’t really believe that my youngest is starting school and my oldest has a locker. At times the days go slow but the months and years speed by.

Birthday Celebrations
Nathan got to spend a day building a loft for his bed with Grandpa Fred. I guess he is practicing for when he goes off to college.
Crazy way to celebrate at the cabin on his birthday…but he is a teenager.
Nathan also got to use his birthday golf clubs (which he received in May) to golf up in Longville with his mother. We had “help” from some neighboring dogs and had to dodge plenty of geese. It was quite entertaining. He is way better than his mom – but I just love the time together.

Teenager in the House!
My oldest in now 13!!! He is becoming quite the young man. I am very proud of who he is and what he does. He is kind and witty, caring and loving, funny and thoughtful. He has a heart for God. I pray that the Spirit will remain in him and guide him as he continues to grow. Love you Nathan! Happy Birthday!

Minute to Win It
We attempting our own Minute to Win It night. It was very hard….we would not have won the million. Here we are trying to get an oreo cookie from your forehead to in your mouth without using your hands. Try it sometime…
North Shore 2010
We spend 4 nights up at the North Shore. Our first real vacation as a family of 6. It was incredible… We did many hikes, spend time in Grand Marais, did some swimming (in the Lake and pool) and just relaxed together. It was a great end to the summer.
Bunker Beach
We went and cooled off at Bunker Wave pool twice this summer. They were great days with friends.
